The Federal Republic of Somalia has received financing through the Intergovernmental Development Authority on Development “IGAD” from the African Development Fund hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Programme in the Horn of Africa - Project II (DRSLP II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for

Construction/Rehabilitation of Livestock Facilities in Mogadishu: (1) Construction of G+1 Office for the Ministry of Livestock, Forestry & Range in Mogadishu, Somalia (LOT 1), (2) Construction of National Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories with Disease

Surveillance Capabilities near the Mogadishu's Port (Lot 2), (3) Rehabilitation of Livestock Market Enclosures Equipped with Loading ramps, Water points, Shelters, and Quarantine units near Mogadishu's Port (Lot 3), (4) Construction of Certification Point near Mogadishu's Port (Lot 4).

1. Save the Children International – Somalia Country Office now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction/Rehabilitation of Livestock Facilities in Mogadishu:

(1) Construction of G+1 Office for the Ministry of Livestock, Forestry & Range in Mogadishu, Somalia (LOT 1) for a period of 7 months, (2) Construction of National

Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories with Disease Surveillance Capabilities near the Mogadishu's Port (Lot 2) for a period of 7 months, (3) Rehabilitation of Livestock Market Enclosures Equipped with Loading ramps, Water points, Shelters, and Quarantine units near Mogadishu's Port (Lot 3) for a period of 7 months, (4) Construction of Certification Point near Mogadishu's Port (Lot 4) for a period of 7 months.

1. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (National), OCBN procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework dated October, 2015 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Save the Children International – Somalia Country Office via email – [email protected] and inspect the Bidding document during office hours at the address given below.
3. The Bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a request via email to [email protected] quoting IFB

reference DRSLPII/SS/W2/OCBN/002/2022 LOT 1 and/or DRSLPII/SS/W2/OCBN/002/2022 LOT 2 and/or DRSLPII/SS/W2/OCBN/002/2022 LOT 3 and/or DRSLPII/SS/W2/OCBN/002/2022 LOT 4 in the subject line. Interested bidders who require a printed hard copy of the Bidding document may obtain the document upon submission of a receipt showing payment of a non - refundable fee of USD 25 (USD Twenty-five) for publication and mailing costs. The method of payment will be direct payment to SCI Somalia Country office in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Note: The bidding documents sent via email will not require payment of fees.

1. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 07th August 2022, 10:00 hrs. local time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Bidders are free to bid for one or more lots based on capacity. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 07th August 2022, 10:00 hrs. local time.
2. All Bids must be accompanied by an original bid security in the form of an unconditional bank guarantee enforceable in Somalia using the format provided in the Bidding Documents and in the amount in USD against each lot as shown in the table below:
